We will be taking off tomorrow for Japan and we are getting excited to see what God will do. We know that there will be many challenges this year but we also know that we can trust in God for all of them. We are having a prayer meeting with our entire team at our home tonight to commit ourselves to Him, to ask Him to overcome our anxiety, to give Him this mission and ask for His guidance and power to do all that He wants done in Japan, to bind us together as a Body of Christ, humbling ourselves to each other so that we can serve the Japanese people as one body. We so appreciate your prayers and support for we know that nothing can be done without the prayers of God's people.
"He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many." 2 Corinthians 1:10-11
We are so very excited to see you this Wednesday! We are praying for a safe and uneventful trip. Just had another big earthquake last night, a new reality for us in this part of Japan. We too sense that something is "up" in the spiritual sense, but trust the Lord and his provision of "Daily Bread" for each of us. The Lord's prayer is so incredible simple yet relevant in all situations at all time.

on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
