Then we passed them out in the neighborhood. We had flyers for VBS, the middle school pizza party for today and the high school event on Saturday also. Matt was super at giving out these flyers and explaining in Japanese what they were and just inviting them to come. BJ and Tim and the rest of us finished about the same time and we headed for Denny's for a late lunch. We came back to plan tonight's middle school meeting and to set up. It is TMK's first activity of this nature. As I write this, I hear and see Tim and Matt practicing their special music, BJ and Jon's daughter, Lizzie, playing ping pong, with punctuations of laughter, and Andrew working on his personal testimony. There is a feeling of contentment, and joy that can only come from God. We don't know who will come or if any will come, but we give this evening to God and whatever happens is for His glory. One thing we are learning as we talk with Jon is that we can serve and obey God in everything and with a whole heart and we may not see obvious fruit but the point is not how many people come to God, but that we, in faith, continue to obey God no matter how difficult. Please pray for tonight: for the music, for Andrew's testimony and for relationships to be developed through the games and just hanging out together.

Ev: Getting Ready for Middle School kids
Today is Friday and we hit the floor running. BJ and Tim helped Paul Suzuki move books and other things to the SEND center in 88 degree weather with high humidity. The rest of us ended up putting 500 flyers together that introduced TMK and included a Manga-style 4 spiritual laws. When we were done, we prayed and just asked God to use these flyers to plant seeds.
